A stunning holiday destination in its own right, Burnett Heads is home to some of the most picturesque coastline in the country. Spend your days exploring the rivers and beaches and soaking in the glorious natural beauty.
RV Oceanside has been meticulously designed to maximise sea breezes, with acres of shared gardens and parkland. Our vision is to restore the natural environment by planting trees, shrubs and grasses that are native to the area and to build natural billabongs that encourage the local wildlife, while also providing a tranquil outlook from your home.
You may have noticed the trees dotted behind each lot on our site plan. These trees represent our ‘Green Zone’- a 6 metre wide, communal garden space that gives you a backyard, without having to worry about the maintenance.
Note – the masterplan shown may vary over time as construction progresses.
The township of Burnett Heads features sprawling walkways, cafes, convenience stores, roadside produce stalls and unique shops to discover. It is also home to a first-class marina complex and the much anticipated Gateway Marina development. Hop on your bike and explore our region’s fresh produce or enjoy ocean-fresh seafood, direct off the local trawlers.
Oaks Beach (pictured), is a short walk from RV Oceanside and is popular with tourists and turtles alike! Patrolled over the Summer months by volunteer lifesavers, Oaks is also a turtle nesting beach, with over 100 turtles nesting here over a typical season.
Well-known as the gateway to the “Southern Great Barrier Reef’, the Burnett Heads region is full of stunning natural beauty, no matter which way you turn! Nature lovers are spoilt for choice in this region with an abundance of fish and bird life, with the ‘turtle capital’ of Mon Repos only minutes away.
Whale watching tours, snorkelling and trips to the reef all depart from Burnett Heads.
Conveniently located just a short 15-minute drive away is the vibrant regional city of Bundaberg. With both public and private hospitals, doctors, pharmacies as well as modern shopping and dining precincts right on your doorstep, Bundaberg is a bustling regional hub. Bundaberg Airport provides regular flights by Qantas to the Brisbane Domestic Airport.
Boasting some of the region’s best watersports and fishing, Burnett Heads is a water lover’s paradise. With both river and deep-water access by boat ramp only minutes away from your new home, getting out and catching a feed of fish has never been more convenient! A safe and patrolled surfing beach is also a 5-minute walk away.
